Famous for its frontal location to the Iles Medes (diving, scuba diving, ..) and a perfect beach location with plenty of nature, and also a good starting point to discover beautiful Catalonia and the Costa Brava ... welcome to l'Estartit.
We offer a beautifully finished duplex apartment (built in 2000) for 4-6 people, with all contemporary comfort, in the most beautiful complex of Estartit and surrounding area. Located in a quiet area, 400m from the beach, with supermarkets, restaurants and bars nearby, without being annoyed by the side effects.
Illa mar d'Or is not a public holiday resort, but a private complex. It guarantees you a stay in a 'civilized', quiet environment. Without saying, the community also expects you to behave as such :-)
Do also know that if you're looking for an "exuberant nightlife", Estartit is probably not for you.
Rental direct from owner, which brings a significant discount compared to booking through travel agents or local real estate offices.
About appartement 18 ...
Number 18 is a duplex apartment in Residencia Illa Mar d'Or - Estartit, initially equipped for a family with 3 children. You will find all contemporary comfort, double glazing and electrically operated shutters everywhere, 3 terraces, air conditioning, personal underground parking space (EV charging is scheduled to be installed soon) , ... and as a dessert a beautiful swimming pool !
As from 2022, High Speed Wifi is available in appartement 18.

What can I do in l'Estartit ?
Beach
Estartit has a very wide and extensive sandy beach. With plenty of space. Including the obligatory beach chair rental, water activities (kayak, surfing, pedal boats ...), beach bars and sports grounds (photo left).
More to the south there are separate areas for kites
and an area where dogs are welcome (photo right).
Keep walking
and you will soon arrive
in a quiet zone, away from apartments and campsites, bordering the nature park (photo above).
What can I do in the wider area ?
Medieval villages
Pals and Peratellada are the 2 nicest medieval villages, both 20 km from Estartit.
Well preserved restored where needed, with some nice shops and restaurants, both built on a hill.
It can be quite busy in high season.
More inland (about an hour drive), Besalu is the main eye-catcher, with an impressive access road/bridge.
